Technical Difficulties :(

So, I'm just throwing this out there in hopes for some help but....

why won't Blogger let me change to my own custom template (layout) for the background? Every time I try and use a template that is not provided by Blogger, the HTML is all messed up and won't display the layout correctly. I know it's not something I'm doing wrong (I happen to have a tech whiz for a boyfriend) and I know that it's not the layouts I've tried using. Any suggestions or insight? Much appreciated!

Today

Today I am sad the sun is hiding on me. Matt and I got free tickets to a concert tonight at Thunderbird Stadium, should be fun! Can't complain about free tickets, that's for sure. I'm watching Blood Diamond right now, and well, there is only so much blood shed and genocide I can take. I think I'll stick to comedy's for the next few days. All in all, good movie, just highly depressing :(

I need to start painting again! Any ideas? (bare in mind I cannot paint people or anything too intricate...beginner!)

Mmm...Burgers are almost done, chow time!
